Studying textiles at university allowed me to work with new types of textiles, and experience with innovative practices as well as using age old techniques such as weaving.

This project was to teach ourselves a old weaving technique, and combine it with new techniques and design styles to create a a contemporary woven example. Whilst doubling as a focus on our wasteful society, attempting to reuse items found in your household, and solely use those as your construction tools.

Materials Used; broken extension cords (inside wires and outside casing separately), leftover twine laying around my sewing supplies, and old yarn from my scrap basket.
