Taking a costume class whilst studying textiles was an interesting way to approach costumes and how to construct a garment as well as an outfit. Your style is your costume.

This piece was the final project of the course, the brief was make something undesirable become desirable via change. The costume was made from scratch from all recycled pieces whether bought or found to create a new and engaging floral number.

Materials Used; old garbage bags, scraps of calico, various trims found at remnant warehouse, various buttons found at remnant warehouse, old tissue paper, acrylic paint, old present ribbon.
