This costume was made for a friend for a party, created in a rich green colour contrasted with black trims.

Made to her measurements the steam punk dress was made with a lightweight satin so that the dress flowed lightly and still hung how it should in the base of the skirt. Such a fun piece to make and interesting era of designs to play with.

Materials used; polyester dance satin, polyester lining, black ribbon, fabric covered buttons, black cotton thread, interfacing, zipper, hook and eye.
